With its headquarters in Seoul's Samsung Town, the Samsung Group is a South Korean multinational business focused on manufacturing. The biggest South Korean chaebol consists of a considerable number of related enterprises, most of which are under the umbrella of the Samsung brand (business conglomerate). Samsung is expected to be the eighth-most valuable global brand by 2020. Lee Byung-Chul launched Samsung as a commercial firm in 1938.
