Jindal Naturecure Institute announces to open its premises from November 16

Bengaluru: Jindal Naturecure Institute, the premier naturopathy healthcare facility, located on the outskirts of Bengaluru, has announced to open its facilities for admission starting November 16.

The naturopathy institute that treats about 15,000 patients annually from across the world, shut its operations in March following Covid-19 induced lockdown.

“As per the directive issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, we have put in place strict sanitation and hygiene protocols for the safety of our patients and doctors. We have used the downtime to ensure a sanitised environment, train staff to follow the highest safety standards and put safe practices to govern the new normal,” K R Raghunath, senior chairman at Jindal Naturecure Institute said in a press release.

Covid and the lockdown has severely affected the wellness and the lifestyle-correction sector in South Indian states that are a hub of naturopathy hospitals like Jindal.

Jindal Naturecure has been in the news for often hosting VIPs including Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, JD(S) chief H D Deve Gowda and celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha.

When the lockdown was announced in March, patients who were already within the campus were continuously monitored throughout their stay. Further admissions were suspended and the institute was closed after the discharge of those patients. Alternatively, the institute’s doctors and experts continued to offer free online yoga sessions and tips to improve immunity for fighting with the virus through webinars, the institute management said.

The healthcare operations of the institute will be revived in phases, according to K R Raghunath. “At present, only limited admissions and the entire operations will resume soon,” he said.
